away

I am tired of all the tears Cascading down my cheeks
I am tired of all my fears That every night to me do speak
The stars are calling to me 'Let go and finally be free'
They are telling me to go with the flow
To leave this place here below
I feel them pulling my soul
It's time for me to take a stroll
Away from my worries and woes
It's time for me to decompose...

it's great to be back!..(an old post, an old blog of mine)

how are you everyone?
life has really been great.,.life has always treated me well..and has always smile for me..life love me as i love life back..oh yeah! My Love!
i have been off net for quite "sometime". for those who wanna know what i have been up to, heres bits and pieces of how life goes with me.
i was off for 3 days for a business trip. I went to Cagayan Valley and Aparri, Aparri is the other end of Philippines in the northern part. Its a 16hours trip by-land via bus and it took us 4 stop overs for the drivers to rest and relax..a good way too for us passengers to bend our knees and properly stretch our sored bodies due to long hours of voyage..I was with the sales person named Crispin..we left Manila at 7:45 in the evening and arrived at Buguey (a town before Aparri) before 10am. We chose Florida liner because its the fastest and it has comfort room inside the bus thats very well sanitized..but my goodness!!..its way too cold too. I called the attention of the driver's helper asking him if they can lower the thermostat but he said its the lowest, so i told him, "you know, when you promote your bus, you say its the most comfortable and the safest one, but it seems that its not, coz its making its passengers so uncomfortable and not safe, do you see any of your passenger sitting comfortably?" he just looked at me then left..oh well
but the view along the way is fascinating..the city lights over looking from Sta. Fe road is just perfect..the rice fields and the greenery that was unvieled as the sun started to shine is so fascinating...the place is very cold too..made me once again appreciate the beauty of nature..Mother Nature truly has its way of making us feel at home!
I woke up at 7am..my celfone is gone! Tried to find it inside the bus but i think the guy seated at my back got it but he is already gone so...i cant help but scratched my head and.. smile..has no one to blame but my sleepy self..umm has to cure this really, dont let me lean or i'll fall asleep! hahaha..
we left thursday and went back here saturday morning, supposedly we'll return by sunday or monday but i have to hurry back coz the client from CAgayan de Oro city is in Manila and is set to meet me at 10am. Cagayan de Oro is in Mindanao while Cagayan Valley is in Luzon. Luckily my appointment was re-sched so i took the time to sleep...and sleep..and sleep!
Sunday came so me and my sisters and brothers went to church and was home before midnight..it was awesome!
Monday, after my appointment, i took the time to buy new celfone courtesy of my bank account hehehe..but this time, i bought a cheaper one! (in preparation for another loss..lmao). Actually that was the 2nd time i lost my celfone, the first was in a bus too and in a business trip too and was because of me sleeping so soundly too hahaha..the first was very expensive tho coz i think i was one of the very first in the country then who bought that unit, its a Sony Erickson P910i that cost me P33,000.00 or $825 USD..made me feel weak for a week hahaha..
the next day was another busy day as i have to attend on the new endeavor we have which i am very positive that this would really make good. This was the time too for a general meeting with the whole company for a new business positioning and a slight paradigm shift..the business plan was laid down and is now being implemented and follow through..
yet..one thing is pretty sure, in all those times..in all those moment, i am inlove!
and now im back hehehe..back to mess with you all once again!
i love you everyone..keep smiling!
let me show you this colorful face once again to show you all how colorful my life is...hehehe

walk on by

just keep walking...
the going will get better
if it gets rough..pause
............reverberate..
afterwards..move your feet again..
....forward..
look up, and follow the striking rays in the horizon
paint a sweet smile..be grateful..
keep walking..
if the striking rays are hiding in the dark horizon..
...once again, cast a sweet smile..
for behind the clouds, the sun is still shining!

an old blog..

Philippines is one of the largest archipelagoes in the world. It is consists of more than 7,107 islands (includes the low tide high tide) and has a land area of 30million hectares. More than 3/4s of the islands are unnamed. The major islands are Luzon, Mindanao, Palawan, Samar, Leyte, Panay, Negros, Cebu, Mindoro, Masbate and Bohol. These islands constitutes 93.5% of the total land area of the country.

Philippines is rich in natural resources, including forests products, fish, minerals, water, agricultural crops, energy resources and livestocks. This is why many of the foreign countries invaded Philippines; because of its abundancy of its natural resources and not to mention, the high intelligence, the mental capacity of its citizen. The Filipino population is one of the most highly educated in the developing world and indeed, supplies skilled manpower to other countries in East and Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and North America. It has an estimated population of about 91,077,287 and has a very low employment rate of only 7.9% of its total population.

In short, Philippines is indeed a country where all the basic components of becoming or making it progressive, economically sound country is at hand. However, the corrupt practices of its government officials are crippling the economy no matter how much hardwork one ordinary plebeians would employ to be able to surpass a day to day existence.

The current political eventualities is one big actual picture of the massive and large scale corruption that is widely happening in the government. The treasure of the country is being distributed to the limited few in the form of corruption, therefore basic services dont reach the masses who are paying their taxes religiously in the hope and with the expectation that it will come back to them in the form of basic services.
Most of the government projects are in BOT arrangement, in which, after it is being done, the masses or the public utilizing such project bleed in paying dues. If a certain firm builds a road..they would normally set a certain date to be able to cover up all the expenses and gather the profit at the specified time. Therefore, to attain this, they would normally impose higher cost of usage to the consumers instead of the government paying such project from the taxes being paid by the people.
Where does the taxes go? The taxes goes in "fake" government projects specifically on the procurement section where a certain bidder has to mark up 100% of the total cost or higher to bribe those officials who will be approving the project. I myself have been a witnessed to such. That i have to marked up 150% from actual price to bribe each member of the approving committee. Wrong but its a way of a getting a project...wrong still that i tolerated it..my business side came on that instance, i gathered higher profit. Greed...
yeah, its greed that runs in the heart of the most of the government officials. That is why, when a person like Jun Lozada now who was a former government official but took the courage to cry foul about the massive corruption thats going on with this ZTE project, (a nationwide broadband project) made all the masses happy and treated him like a hero and truly posted hope in the heart of the masses over the current dismal state of the nation. I just wish more of people like him would come out in the open and really be reminded that they are elected into office to serve the masses. We the masses are their bosses and they as the government officials are our servants...with the President being the head of these servants. And the bosses are the ones with the final say on things, not the servant.

I dont wanna go back in old days where i would march in the street shouting for reforms..i am pretty sure i can employ more ways of expressing my dissapointments and the change i look for in the current government. Yet i believe, that no political change would ever be successful if the change dont start from its citizenry.
just a thought...

and yeah i dont deal with government projects now ..not only because of the super bribing that you have to do..but it would requires too much effort too of pleasing them in the form of gifts, dinner outside, and some favors...but hey..i am surely making use of themin the best way i could for the advancement of my personal and business side...it is their function anyway!
